PEARL HARBOR / * 1/2 (PG-13)

Roger Ebert's negative reviews are far more entertaining than his positive ones, and this is no exception. Witness his opening line:

'"Pearl Harbor" is a two-hour movie squeezed into three hours, about how on Dec. 7, 1941, the Japanese staged a surprise attack on an American love triangle.'

Mark Twain would be proud of such wit.
